Isaiah Whitehead Mixtape @ Big Strick Classic

Uploaded on 11 August, 2013

Isaiah Whitehead (Class of ’14), a combo guard out of Lincoln High School (Brooklyn, New York), is one of the top prospects in a very heavily talented group of recruits playing his position. Whitehead, who stands at 6’4, can stroke it from the long range, but he does most of his damages by slashing to the hoop. He is not the prototype athlete at his position such as Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook, but his ability to finish with contact at the rim makes up to it. Whitehead is always looking to score first but also has the right mindset and isn’t hesitant to get his teammates involved. Whitehead separates himself from his competitors with his excellent agility and decision making skills.¬†One of the rare qualities he possesses is his motor on the court. He is always the most hardworking player and never quits on any plays. He is described as a team player willing to do anything to win the game. Whiteheads’ game is very comparable to a player such as the likes of Jrue Holiday and Jarrett Jack. Isaiah has offers from various schools such as Florida, Syracuse, Louisville, Kansas, Kentucky, St. Johns, Georgetown and UCLA. Lincoln High School is also home to NBA players such as Lance Stephenson, Sebastian Telfair, and Stephon Marbury. Isaiah Whitehead will be a force to be dealt with at the college level and has the potential to be a great player in the NBA.
