Rashad Vaughn, 6’6 shooting guard out of Findlay College Prep (MN) is one of the most sought-after prospects in the class of 2014. He has well rounded all-around player with great length and athleticism. Vaughn is a force to be reckoned with both at guard and small forward position. The five star recruit is a star in the making due to the arsenal of skills he possesses. His versatility allows him to score in multiple ways on the offensive end and he is arguable the most pure scorer in this class of elites. Vaughn can shoot the long ball, find open teammates, beat defenders off the dribble and pull off acrobatic finishes at the rim on nearly any defender. His ball handling ability has drastically improved over the last couple of months during the AAU circuit. The best part of Vaughn’g game is his efficiency in a high-paced offense with his driving ability and finish above the rim.
The upcoming senior from Minnesota has a long list of suitors trying to recruit him. He recently finalized his top eleven schools which includes Arizona, Baylor, Connecticut, Georgetown, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, UCLA, and UNLV. Where will Rashad Vaughn go to play college hoops next year? It’s very hard to tell at this point, regardless of where he goes, Vaughn has the potential to change the direction of the program right away when he steps on the court. He is a star in the making in the future without a doubt!
