Romelo Trimble (ESPN #45 in 2014), 6’2 point guard out of Bishop O’Connell High School (Arlington, Virginia) is one of the top talents in this class. Trimble is an excellent shooter from the perimeter, he is a score-first point guard. His ball handling skills are stellar. He also has the ability to get in the paint and finish with contact at the rim. One of his most underrated talents are his tendency to make good decisions and get his teammates involved. He has excellent vision in terms of finding open teammates on the court. Trimble can control the pace of the game and initiate any type of offense. He possesses a college ready body with his stocky build so an immediate impact for the Terps can be expected.
Romelo Trimble is an explosive guard who can score at his will at any time of the game. His defense is overlooked and can do it at both ends of the court. Trimble is currently committed to the University of Maryland and don’t be shocked to see him create some spark in the ACC.

  1. His first year on the team will be after UMD moves to the B1G. Other than that, great write up.
